EPOTEC PU SYSTEM

A seamless system intended for large-capacity parking areas, industrial halls, sports halls, resistant to salts, oil substances, frost and water, providing water-proofing of the foundation construction for outdoor areas.

Use

Epotec PU is a coloured final system for outdoor and indoor parking areas, industrial halls, sports halls, etc. Applicable to concrete, compounds or asphalt with anti-skid treatment.

Penetration

The prepared foundation should be homogenous, free of holes or cracks all over the required area. To prevent bubbles and for good adhesion, use the Epotec PU Primer or Epotec Primer SF for penetration.

Application

Components contained in the packages are pre-weighed in order to achieve optimal results. Never divide the packaging or its components into parts. Pour hardener B into base A and mix any possible sediments. Use a manual screw mixer. Scrape the material from the container walls, place into another container, and stir for 1 minute.
Avoid too much air from entering the mixture.

Consumption

N.B.:

• This system must be used for areas with direct sunshine. For other systems and internal systems it is possible to skip the Membrane layer. In these cases, a responsible person from the application company determines consumption and technology.
• Consumption and laying technologies can vary slightly according to the application concerned.
• The grain size for the anti-skid filling may be adapted to the customer's requirements. A large grain size requires larger consumption of the Epotec PU material.

Colours

Delivered in the range of standard EPOTEC colours. Individual batches may differ slightly in shades. Therefore, make sure the material intended for the final layer is from one batch.
If colour unification is required for larger applications, inform the technical department before the material is manufactured.

Tool cleaning

Once the application is finished, immediately clean the tools with acetone.

Certificates

The Epotec PU material meets the requirements specified in Government Regulation 163/2002 Coll., thus ensuring conformity of the material properties with the essential requirements of this Act. The material has been tested and certified by competent authorities.
We have all tests required by the Czech laws available. A Certificate issued by an Authorized Body confirms the quality of the material; this document testifies that the products launched on the market correspond with the technical specifications.

Technical data

Temperature

Epotec PU should not be applied if the temperature of the material or floor drops below 15 °C. Within 24 hours of application, the temperature should not drop below 5 °C

Work safety

• Irritates eyes, respiratory organs and skin.
• Sensitisation may occur on inhaling and on contact with skin.
• Dangerous for the environment.
• Sensitisation may occur on contact with skin.
• Do not inhale gas/fume/vapour/spray.
• Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection.
• After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water.
• In the case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
• This material and its container must be disposed of as hazardous waste.
• In the case of insufficient ventilation, use suitable equipment to protect your respiratory system.
• Call for medical attention immediately in the case of an accident or if you feel unwell (if possible, show this label).
• Extremely toxic to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment.
• Avoid leakage to the environment. See special instructions / safety data sheets.
• Harmful if inhaled.
